To Her Heart's Content
Always having loved the water, yet cast aside at times, Aphrodite finally realized that she could now swim with the mermaids as her heart desired. I always knew, i had no doubts and didn’t realize it was ever an issue. Maybe my realization and the storm in my eyes helped her to realize this. If so, it was a rather painful way to do so for her. That was not my intent- to bring pain to her.
Now she was free and stronger as well as more confident. She could now swim where her heart desired. This brought me great joy and Sadness at the same time as I continue to walk on Land.
